Apparently a ground fire swept through part of the park not too long ago. New plants were growing up out of it though, and it didn't destroy all of the existing plants (it looked like it just burned the already dry grass and that was all.) Taken from the Longhorn Trail in the White Ranch Park area just outside of Golden, Colorado.
