Down this small alley is "Silk Alley" (this photo is actually down the alley where it expands a bit, the left side being a government building). Once known for it's array of silk fabrics, it's now home to many, many stalls and vendors willing to deal on anything they are selling (believe me, I bought two silk bathrobes, the original price was going to be 250 renminbi each, I got them for 150 each, I'm sure I could have went down to 100 but I was getting tired...)
