Apparently Helvetia has a Lavender Festival every year. This year it was hosted by Bishop House Lavender. Outside of picking large bunches (as much as you can fit in one of their twist-ties for $5) they had some lavender products (soaps and lotions) and a xylophone band playing. Jane picked to her heart's content then we hit the Helvetia Tavern for some lunch before heading home.
