Last week a problem with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner meant I missed my connecting flight out of of Tokyo Narita Airport. I actually got excited to spend the night in Japan, I'd never been to Tokyo. Turns out the airport is 2 hours from Tokyo, and a massively expensive taxi ride (or an expensive train ride). I discovered all of this while Googling for "6 hour layover in Tokyo". While I didn't end up leaving the hotel, I did find a few references for next time.
