All By Myself. Love it. Though I can't imagine being in Las Vegas and choosing to spend the night in the airport, The Strip is not much of a taxi ride away...     #>

The slow demise of the frequent-flier program. I'm not sure if this is good or bad for me. It means I could get more credit for the shorter haul trips and quite a few are last minute and fairly expensive, but I don't think it'll help me get status since I've been averaging a couple long haul trips the last few years (for instance I'm in Australia on a $2200 ticket, which under their scheme is only 10,400 miles. The actual mileage though is over 16,000 round trip so I'd get screwed on this one.)     #>

Sandwich Monday: Taco Bell's Quesarito. I can't wait to get back to the US!     #>

Amazing 'Translation App' For World Travelers (download free now). I soooo wanted something like this years ago in Romania (I actually told my co-workers about how much I wanted an auto-translating app...)     #>

Science: The Best Way to Use a Whisk. Interesting.

Foil Wrapped Side of Salmon with Lemon and Rosemary. Made these in my hotel/apartment last week and they were fantastic.     #>

Understanding Golden Hour, Blue Hour and Twilights. In spite of it being a giant advertisement for an iDevice-only app I still learned something (I've always wondered what civil and nautical twilight were...)     #>

SD15 Rucksack. Doesn't go quite as small as I'd like but it'd make a great spare bag for when I get sent somewhere for work for more than a week and have the chance to weekend elsewhere (as happened recently, I popped up to Sydney from Melbourne and didn't feel like packing my checked bag so I picked up a cheapo backpack from the local Queen Victoria Market. If I hadn't had that option I'm not sure what I would have done.)     #>

Some nice fonts that I came across not long ago:

ViewDNS DNS tools. That looks pretty comprehensive.     #>

Guidebook On A Phone: BD Partners With Mountain Project For Free Climbing App. Nice to see. I wanted to support Mountain Project (and I have done by submitting info and photos) but their app was $10. That was too rich for my blood.     #>

The Best Self-Hosted Alternatives to Popular Services. Already running a few of these, debating others.     #>
