When the crew were cleaning fish, some where still alive. They employed a trick of whacking it with a short bat. Due to the enthusiasm of our group (we had the most fun on the boat), they let Steven (Kate's brother) whack all of the still-living fish. It was especially gross considering that both of a flounder's eyes are on the top of the head, right where the stick came down...
