Longs Canyon, Utah 2002-10-05
Looking from above, out to Jacob's Chair and the Henry mountain chain (way out there in the haze). Long's Canyon doesn't look that impressive once you get up above it, but it took us a day and a half to hike out of it, so it lives up to it's name to me. This picture was taken from the mesa of Oregon Rock that forms yet another layer/canyon system above the sandstone.
