Daintree Rainforest, Australia 2004-10-12
On the drive from Cairns to Daintree Rainforest you have to do a ferry crossing. It's an old-style affair, you drive your car onto the platform and a cable pulls the ferry back and forth across the river. A bridge would be quicker but not nearly as cool.
