The slow demise of the frequent-flier program. I'm not sure if this is good or bad for me. It means I could get more credit for the shorter haul trips and quite a few are last minute and fairly expensive, but I don't think it'll help me get status since I've been averaging a couple long haul trips the last few years (for instance I'm in Australia on a $2200 ticket, which under their scheme is only 10,400 miles. The actual mileage though is over 16,000 round trip so I'd get screwed on this one.)
