Why I switched from Elinchrom Skyports to Pocket Wizards. Because of peer pressure, what a joke. I have the cheapo ebay triggers from Gadget Infinity and am extremely happy with them. Heck, they've saved the day since they came with a couple different sync cables, I was able to trigger some studio lights remote that people with their vaunted Pocket Wizards couldn't (since they didn't have the right cables with them.) Use what you can afford and what works for you, never mind what "everyone else has".
