Couple links that helped me get a Cisco VPN connection working on Linux. Sometimes our customers insist on using a custom VPN for remote access to systems, I usually spin up a Linux virtual machine just for the access, that way my main machine doesn't get jacked up from having so many VPN clients installed (which can lead to funky network behaviour.)
