Full Facts Book Of Cold Reading. I'd love to get a copy of this but the cost is a tad prohibitive...     #>

Setting up Subversion on Windows. After multiple re-installations of Windows over the past year I used this to resurrect my older Subversion installation (which was still on a data partition).     #>

Camera AF Microadjustment - for free, Checking for front / back focus and fine-tuning camera autofocus. My Canon 40d doesn't let me tweak it, but the 50d does and I presume the next Canon models will as well so this is good info for me for the future...     #>

Dinosaur Lots, I-70 & Morrison/Golden Exit, shockingly difficult to find the name of the lots. Turns out the new huge one on the north-west side of Highway 26 is "Woolly Mammoth", the one on north-east side is "T-Rex" and the south-east side is "Stegosaurus".     #>

Tourists Stranded At Machu Picchu.

Tourists visiting Machu Picchu in Peru have had a little surprise today, as torrential rainfalls in the region have caused massive flooding and landslides, stranding the travelers in the ancient Incan city. According to this story from the Guardian, the train that shuttles visitors to the site has been blocked by more than 40 landslides, effectively cutting it off for the foreseeable future.

GPS Photo Correlation. I'd posted about this in the past but believed it was Linux only. They've got a Windows version now as well, though I haven't tested it out yet (I did run it and it looks simple enough.) The Direction of Moonrise and Moonset. The other day when I went to get photos of the biggest moon of 2010 I was trying to figure out where it would come up. My goal was to get it rising over downtown Denver (I got close, but not exact). Turns out it's surprisingly difficult to figure out where on the horizon the moon will come up. Still I think my plan of hanging out at Green Mountain worked out ok:

Is your Focus Letting You Down. I keep meaning to test all my lenses, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Glad they included a link for a focusing chart though, maybe that'll help me get off my duff.     #>

All 21 Lucky Songs from The Hangover. Recently watched it for the 3rd time and realized how much I'd like the soundtrack (except not every song in the movie is on the soundtrack so this list is better...)     #>

Daniel Zoppi - Bersa THUNDER 9mm

Apparently the Bersa's are known for how inexpensive they are (saw one at a gun shop recently that was 1/2 the price of everything else in the case). I'm more interested in the range he's shooting at, I want to try a place like that...     #>
