I can't believe I haven't already posted this...

I'm a big fan of the movie Idiocracy, as is Greg. When I found out a while back they were actually going to make the Brawndo drink I sent him the link. Turns out most of his co-workers are also fans of the movie and the news spread around the office. Well last weekend at the Teva Mountain Games there was a Trango tent setup near the climbing area. One of his co-workers called the makers of Brawndo and convinced them to send not only free cans, but a huge cooler for it as well, so all weekend they had iced Brawndo on hand. Greg gave me a couple cans when we came up, this one was the spare I kept just to photograph. My mini-review is that it tastes a bit like a liquid Smartee candy. The nutrition information shows the 16-ounce can only has 140 calories total (2 servings at 70 calories per 8 ounce serving.) That's pretty good considering a 12-ounce can of Dr. Pepper has 250 calories...

And now onto the can... I was using a CTO gel to try and get the sparklers to color-shift to blue, but white was about the best I could get out of it. Still, like the effect for this all-American drink...

Track registry changes with RegFromApp. How many times have you just tried out a program, and then uninstalled it while it leaves a trail of destruction in your registry? More often than you'd think. This gives you a fighting chance of being able to back those changes out.     #>

United Airlines Adds Baggage Fee : US Airways Takes Its Nickel & Dime Tactics To A Whole New Level! A race to the bottom for sure (and I've long despised US Air, so no surprise they are being bastards about things.)     #>

Icon A5 Is All Wet, As Sport-Plane Ideas Go. That's pretty cool, tad pricey, but still pretty cool.     #>

The other day I needed to pick up a new flasher relay for my truck (to fix a turn signal). Turns out that Emich Chevrolet, a local Chevy dealer, actually had it cheaper than Carquest! I'm a bit shocked, I believe this is the first thing I've ever purchased in my life from a car dealership that was cheaper than a 3rd-party part. Granted it was only $2 cheaper, but on a $14 item that's actually a decent percentage (not to mention I now have an exact OEM part...)     #>

About a week ago I ordered a new TV from Amazon, then yesterday I noticed it in Ultimate Electronics for the same price (their prices are typically considerably higher than most other stores). I double-checked Amazon and the price had dropped by almost $200 in the past week. One quick call to Amazon and the charge to my credit card was adjusted lower, which was good to see. However there are a couple sites that will automatically track such price drops for you (Amazon's policy is within 30-days of purchase, but you have to call or email them to get it, they don't issue adjustments automatically.) So take a look at these three sites to track your big-ticket purchases:
